Everyone loves pizza, including all of us here in Junction City, KS. We have some great places to choose from. If you’re new or just visiting, keep reading to find out where we go for the best pizza.

Casey’s

Casey’s has some of the best pies in the city. Find this gem at 624 S. Washington Street. Don’t be put off by the fact that Casey’s is in a gas station. They make their pizzas fresh in their own kitchen, and they have the best sausage you’ll ever taste on a pizza. The service is awesome, too.

Tossed ‘N Sauce Pizza

Head over to 138 W 4th St. in nearby Chapman, KS for Tossed ‘N Sauce: you won’t be disappointed. Every pie is made to order and comes out fresh. The homemade ranch is also great on salads (or on your pizza, if you’re into that).

This is a town favorite and might just be the best available. Pies are fresh and flavorful, reasonably priced, and always delivered or served with a smile. They go out of their way to please here.

Marco’s Pizza

Marco’s is over on 211 W 6th St. in Junction City, and it’s open from 11am to 11pm during the week and on Sunday. On Friday and Saturday nights they close an hour later at midnight. Be sure to tell them if you’re military and enjoy your discount.

Marco’s will deliver all the way over to Fort Riley if you need, and one of the best things is their willingness to customize to your liking. If you’re not in the mood for pizza or have a picky eater in your group, there are plenty of other options, like salad, wings, and sandwiches. Our recommendation? Try the Old World Pepperoni.

Old Chicago

Head over to Manhattan, KS and find Old Chicago at 2001 Clocktower Place. You can’t beat the deep-dish pizza here. They’re open from 11am to 10pm most days and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Be aware that on Mondays they give the staff a break and open at 3pm.

They’ve got a great happy hour that runs from 3pm to 6pm every day and a late-night happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm to closing. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive. We recommend you try the Double Deckeroni for all the pepperoni you can handle, or the Farmer’s Daughter, which is fresh moz, pesto, brick cheese, and more, all topped with a gorgeous balsamic drizzle.

AJ’s NY Pizza

If deep-dish, Chicago-style pizza isn’t your thing, try the big NY-style pizza at AJ’s. This place is on 301 Poyntz St. in Manhattan, KS and is open from 11am to 10pm every day except Friday and Saturday, when they stay open until 10:30pm.

We love the Grilled Cheese Pie with three types of cheese and lots of bacon. The Jalapeno Popper is another unusual favorite, featuring cream cheese under cheddar and mozzarella, all topped with spicy jalapenos.
