The 2021 Jeep Wrangler has a classic, boxy look and outstanding capabilities. It's a great choice for a comfortable commute or an off-road adventure. To find out more about this versatile, durable SUV, continue reading.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2021 Wrangler comes in 14 trim levels: Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Islander, Willys, Freedom, 80th Anniversary, Sport Altitude, RHD, Sahara, Rubicon, Sahara Altitude, High Altitude, and Rubicon 392. Soft- and hard-top models with two or four doors are available, and the roof is removable. A powered version is optional, and you can also remove the doors and fold down the windshield. This SUV has Jeep's recognizable seven-slot grille, round headlights, all-season tires, 17-inch wheels, front and rear tow hooks, manually-folding side mirrors, and fog lights. You can choose automatic headlights, 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, side steps, skid plates, and rock rails as well.
Engine (Power)
You'll get a powerful, efficient 3.6-liter V-6 engine that offers 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Its automatic start-stop technology conserves fuel by preventing most idling. A turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder motor that produces 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and an EcoDiesel 3.0-liter V-6 that gives 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque are also available. The wrangler comes with a six-speed manual transmission, but an eight-speed automatic is optional.
Performance
Four-wheel drive is standard, and you can choose from three different systems. Selec-Trac adapts to changing road conditions automatically, only delivering power to all four wheels when needed. You can choose Command-Trac to add towing and rock crawling modes, and the Rock-Trac system can adjust the Wrangler's driving mode, torque distribution, shock sensitivity, and more. The Wrangler has plenty of ground clearance and high intakes for crossing creeks and streams, and it can easily maneuver around fallen logs, boulders, and other obstacles on trails. With the automatic transmission, you'll get Selec-Speed Control, an off-road version of cruise control.
Interior
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler's interior is comfortable, durable, and practical. It has drains in the floor to make cleaning easy, voice recognition, folding rear seats, an eight-speaker sound system, and a 5-inch touch screen. You'll also get cruise and sound controls for the steering wheel, 31.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, and two 12-volt power outlets.
You can add dual-zone climate control, heated leather seats, keyless entry, remote start, a 120-volt power outlet, and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system with a subwoofer and a 522-watt amplifier. Other options include an 8.4-inch touch screen, a heated steering wheel, a storage space under the cargo area, and a universal garage door opener.
Safety Features
With this SUV, you'll get a variety of safety and driver assistance features to improve your peace of mind. The Wrangler comes with electronic stability control, hill start assistance, a rearview camera, a security system with an engine immobilizer, and trailer sway control. You can add parking assistance, roadside assistance, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.
