2021 Ram 1500

The 2021 Ram 1500 has a large, sculpted hood, rectangular headlights, and a chrome or black grille with RAM lettering in the middle. Eight trim levels are available: TRX, Limited, Limited Longhorn, Rebel, Laramie, Big Horn, Tradesman HFE, and Tradesman. You can also choose from two cab sizes and three bed sizes. The base Tradesman trim comes with 18-inch wheels, tow hooks, a skid plate, heated power side mirrors, and perimeter lights. You can add manually-folding tow mirrors, heated power-folding side mirrors with memory settings and turn signals, rain-sensing windshield wipers, fog lights, power running boards, automatic high beams, and 20- or 22-inch wheels. Cargo tie-down hooks, active grille shutters, a power-sliding rear window, and extra storage for the truck bed are also available. You can choose a multifunction tailgate that opens like a pair of doors or a traditional tailgate as well.

This truck comes with a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine that gives 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. You can also pick a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 that grants 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque; a 6.2-liter, supercharged HEMI V-8 that offers 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque; or a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that generates 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. All of these options are mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Ram 1500 is maneuverable, efficient, and fun to drive. It comes with trailer sway control, power steering, electronic stability control, and electronic roll mitigation. You can choose an engine oil cooler, a snow plow kit, an independent air suspension that lets you adjust the ride height, and a 26- or 33-gallon fuel tank. The Ram 1500 can pull up to 12,750 pounds and carry up to 2,300 pounds. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds with the 6.2-liter engine, making the Ram 1500 the most powerful truck on the market.

The interior has a variety of convenience features, including SiriusXM satellite radio, keyless entry, a 5-inch touch screen, cruise controls on the steering wheel, folding rear seats, voice recognition, and a six-speaker audio system. You can add a head-up display, heated and cooled eight-way power front seats, navigation, a 12-inch touch screen, a 7-inch driver information display, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. A heated steering wheel, a folding front passenger seat, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable pedals, and a universal garage door opener are optional as well.

A variety of features can help protect you and your passengers, including hill start assistance, a trailer brake controller, braking assistance, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, and a panic alarm with an engine immobilizer. You can also get automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, regular and parallel parking assistance, and adaptive cruise control.
